When is the financial aid application deadline?
2025-2026 Applicants
The WVU priority deadline for FAFSA is March 1. New students must be admitted by August 1 for the fall start or January 2 for the spring start to be eligible for merit scholarships.
2024-2025 Applicants
. Due to FAFSA delays earlier this year, WVU has lifted the priority deadline. Therefore, some funding may be limited, or deadlines may have passed.
There is no change to the WVU scholarship deadline for 2024-2025. Students must be admitted by June 1 to be eligible for WVU scholarships in the fall, and December 1 for the spring.
